Croquet: six hoops, four balls, two mallets and a patch of grass. Sounds easy enough. Croquet is a game of skill and strategy, angles, tactics and guile. A bit like snooker on grass. Croquet offers sport, friendships, fun, competition and a whole lot more.
Croquet is a great sport, and our club provides an environment to enjoy it both socially and competitively. For new members, we offer all the equipment, coaching, and playing facilities you’ll need to get going. For more experienced players we offer the chance to play competitively, both at home and representing the club outside.
Ipswich Croquet Club was established over 100 years ago in Suffolk, England. It moved to Fynn Valley Golf Club 3 miles North of Ipswich in April 2012, where it now enjoys first class facilities including:

• Full changing room facilities at the Golf Club
The Golf Club offers an informal atmosphere where drinks, meals and snacks are available throughout the week
Ipswich Croquet Club welcomes people who wish to play croquet either socially or competitively.
The club can provide coaching for all abilities from beginner to national levels. You need no special clothes apart from flat-soled shoes, and we provide all the equipment you need to get started.
Annual membership entitles you to year round play, and our members benefit from the great facilities of Fynn Valley Golf Club.
Our club meets every Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 6pm from April to September and Monday and Wednesday afternoons from 1pm all year round, weather permitting. Members can also play anytime during the week. Why not come and try it?
We are a member club of the Croquet Association, which is the governing body for croquet throughout England and Wales.
